Experienced Bank Executive Ken Raymie
Based in San Antonio, Ken Raymie has 25 years of experience as an executive leader at banks and credit unions of all sizes. He has a reputation for establishing and rehabilitating organizational culture, earning leadership accolades from the San Antonio Business Journal and San Antonio Express-News. Ken Raymie is especially well-versed in commercial banking operations and strategic planning initiatives.
Ken Raymie started his career in 1994 as an associate national bank examiner with the United States Treasury Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in Boston. He joined Transpecos Banks as the executive vice president and chief credit officer in 2010, a position that involved extensive recovery and rebuilding efforts for the troubled banking institution. After his time as the senior commercial credit officer at KeyBank, he joined Generations Federal Credit Union as the vice president of commercial services. He spent a decade with the credit union, including five years as the president and CEO, during which time assets grew from $500 million to over $750 million, and loan and deposit growth both increased by over 40 percent.
Ken Raymie holds an economics degree from Boston University and a master of business administration from Northeastern University. In addition to his professional roles, he has held leadership positions with the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, the City of Balcones Heights Economic Development Corporation, and the Ma Hila’s Heart Children’s Cancer Foundation, along with many additional board positions.
